About two years ago, Reach gave us the ability to pilot a fighter in space. This was a nice addition to the game, and I’ve been hoping to be able to experience something like this again.
In Halo 4, there’s a fighter called the Broadsword. I think the description greatly hints at us being able to fly it (in Spartan Ops, not Matchmaking). The New Spartan Ops Trailer showed this fighter in a cinematic flying into Requiem, which leads me to believe that we’ll be able to pilot it in at least one mission in Spartan Ops.
What do you guys think? I’ve been longing for space battles much like those back in the Star Wars Battlefront II days, and I hope that Spartan Ops dedicates at least one episode to a space engagement with Storm Covenant forces.
