Flyable Pelican

Come on 343 it has been over a year now and still not a single human air vehicle. Give us something it has been my die hard dream to be able to fly a pelican in forge. I often go back to previous games just to fly a pelican but the amount of immersion that would be given off by a pelican would be amazing, I mean its fairly simple to do, not game breaking, and I’m sure their are others like me that want SOME sort of HUMAN air superiority. I mean it really kills the custom game vibe having to use a Promethean or Covy vehicle (Especially because neither of those factions are even playable). Grant me this one small request I beg of you.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Carter

They would have to make bigger maps for it to make sense to bring a pelican. Like, halo custom edition levels of big.

Maybe in the Remember reach update some large scale human air vehicle (falcon as a req or pelican as a forge item) as well as forge island.

Carter…didn’t you fly a pelican into a scarab? Do you even know who much does it cost? Enough flying for you Noble 1

Falcons would perfectly fit with Halo5, Image your gunner has damage boost.

You can make it fly able via welding in forge but that’s about it, really

Over a year? Dude, it’s been 5 months

Also, going back to previous games to fly the Pelican? You mean that glitch in Reach and the mission in Halo 4? So we have never had a Pelican in multiplayer/custom games before.

Nah man, imagine a pelican on eden. I reckon it’d work. But in all seriousness, I could see them adding it to forge (maybe), because the forge canvases are pretty large. But I guess you’d still only be able to fly for about 7 seconds in any direction before you hit something. It’s a shame though, after Halo 4, I was so sure we’d have like an air supremacy gametype in Halo 5. Imagine space battles of broadswords, pelicans, banshees and seraphs. Oh well, sadly, it was not to be.

so a flying pelican… as apposed to a driving pelican?

Everyone had points except you. I am disappoint. You can drive a flying vehicle, I trained you better than this. 50 Push Ups.

OT: I doubt we will see flyable Pelicans any time soon. Falcons seem like the most likely to return.
