I really really hope this game will have the return of the flood i miss them haha

And with xbox one’s power they can do so much more stuff with the flood.
Seeing the flood again would be fantastic. Prometheans had potential but their big debut was a let down somewhat…they either need to step up their game a whole lot or have flood roll back on stage. Or both?

Maybe do a classic two betrayals level from halo ce , flood vs prometheans and unsc vs the storm covenant at the same time.
Hope they bring back firefight because the flood will make it so much more fun.

Methinks you remember the Flood too fondly.
After CE there was nothing unique about the Flood aside from the fact that they could resurrect “fallen” enemies until you obliterated the corpses.
And if anything Pure Forms in H3 were horrible.
Improve upon the Prometheans.
It would be cool. The Promethean’s and Covenant fight the flood. And While they’re distracted, we can Kill dem.

Exactly what I was about to say. I could imagine some Flood surviving on the Ark.

The Halo going off would have killed them…
While I would love to see the Flood return (my favorite enemy in Halo), I highly doubt they’ll return in Halo 5. I’m just expecting Prometheans (which I thoroughly enjoyed as an enemy) and Covenant.
I expect the Flood to come back in Halo 6. I expect minor hints of their return in Halo 5, but that’s it.

The Flood?
…have you paid attention at all to the plot of the Halo universe? The entire reason for the Ark and the Halo arrays to be created was to starve the Flood of their food and exterminate them. That is the simple driving plot mechanic for the creation of the Halos, and the beginning of the original Halo trilogy.
And if you don’t mean the Flood, should probably clarify who you mean. 
There should be Flood on other installations.

Fixed
The Flood should be coming back some time – the Origins shorts depicted that Chief would receive an AI chip from a smaller-scale Gravemind, in an environment not unlike the Halo 3 map Guardian. The chip was glowing blue at its core, which suggests that it was occupied (and likely by Cortana).
So, I think we’ll see the Flood back in some capacity. Chief’s journey to finding Cortana will end there, I think, with the Flood peacefully and willingly handing her to Chief. How Origins, Halo 4, and this trailer reconcile will be an interesting journey.

I don’t need to remember anything fondly to know the Prometheans weren’t all they were cracked up to be. Improve them, sure, but do the same for the Flood.
I’ll happily welcome the flood back, but they can’t be like the flood of Halo 3. They were terrible.
