Who want’s to see This happen…

Why are you beating down your teammate?
> Why are you beating down your teammate?
Because he’s in the way. lol
I never understood people priorities. There is a flood in front of you and you choose to kill the other guy rather then the flood. The Elites in CE are the same way.
Betraying your own teammate… I hope a Flood Infection form possesses him and he ends up killing you.
On a serious note, yes I’d love a Flood Firefight mode.
No, it wouldn’t work. Allow me to find my post about why.
> Sounds like a good idea, doesn’t it? Well, think about it: the standard round in a Firefight game is split into 5 waves, and, in Score Attack, there are 5 standard Covenant troop types against which to fight. Fits like a glove.
>
> The Flood has 6 main types, but only 2 of these have any longe-range capabilities. The rest just shamble their way towards the player and attack them up close and personally. That would not make for a good Firefight combat experience. One of the gameplay hooks of fighting the Flood is pushing through endless waves of relentless enemies. Firefight is a DEFENSIVE gametype, in which no tactical pushing is involved. It simply wouldn’t function properly nor enjoyably.
Flood in a standard Matchmaking game is another matter…

I disagree. Fighting flood requires completely different weapons and tactics. Firefight is partly a defensive gametype due to the enemy you face, and the weapons and maps available. Think back to ODST. Not all engagements in firefight were defensive. And not all defensive tactics were as effective. Look at lost platoon. Adopting an offensive vehicle strategy worked best on that map.
Don’t think of it as just throwing flood into the existing firefight maps or system. Think of it as a new experience altogether. The maps would have to be tailored to accommodate a completely different experience altogether. I have no doubt that it could be done, and done well.
Many of us asked for this in Anniversary. After reading Primordium the flood will appear in some way in H4. FloodFight i would like to see and it could work with new flood types
I like the idea of FloodFight. The Flood could use both their powerful melee attacks at close range and weapons that they possess at medium to long range.
PS: I’d hate to be stuck in a corner and have three Tank Forms come at me! lol

Yes it would be awesome!!!
Honestly changing into a flood character model would be the best way to play Infection. That would be amusing to say the least.
95 percent sure flood will be in or if not the Flood(even tho i want it to be them) then we will have some type of new enemy added to Firefight, I doubt 343 would leave Firefight untouched.
Damn! That’s a fine -Yoink- pic you got the man. the gametype down by the score on the bottom right side even says “Firefight Flood”… Good job

I want them in all game types as a playable new species !!!1
I can already see it now.
Lunge disabled, Flood berserker variant that emulates CE/H2 Flood behavior, initial infection form swarms, huge numbers of Flood stalkers, fog, time of day maps (like in ODST), no music, CE Flood gurgles, scenery items as blockade material, Flood buddies, and Flood Juggernauts.
We’ll be able to fight Flood the way it should have been.
Potential maps:
Installation 04 II’s control room pyramid top. The one thing about H3’s last level that wasn’t that bad. A good way to incorporate friendly AI in the form of Sentinels.
Installation 04’s swamp from 343 Guilty Spark. This is an absolute must!
Honestly, this is what Infection needs to turn into. There just isn’t any way to make playing as a zombie fun so we should just have them all controlled by AI.
Say what you want about the Library in Halo 1, but I thought it was a blast when playing it co-op just like Firefight in ODST.

You mean the last part/end section of the level where you lead the marines to that Pyramid Structure and meet Guilty Spark for the first time. And he teleports chief to the Library and the Level ends. (I even think that halo 2 Multiplayer map Backwash was based off this…)
Imagine… Holding out and camping out the structure fighting wave after wave of seemingly never ending hungry flood as they come from all directions.
Epic

Agreed.
Damn it! Why is there going to be no Firefight in Halo 4! I hope there’s just no firefight in the Build of the game they are working on now (Or the info is just outdated), and they are working on Firefight Separately from the game. Hopefully to make it the best it can be. Maybe if we’re All well behaved and lucky they might throw in some Flood.
