Ok so you land in a flood infected homebase, tke out spores and the animated corpses of infected marines.
You secured homebase only to encounter a promethean flood infected night as the first boss
You head of to the armoury (also flood infected) and take out similar enemies to the ones in home base.
You move on to the main centre structure… a flood infected phantom in collision with an astroid, crashed in the middle of the map.
Spirits drop in and release hunters whilst in the crossfire shoot a spore pod and release even more flood.
Having the flood mainly involved rather than the covenant or prometheans in a warzone match i think has massive potential and would love to see this in the game in the future.
Bring back the flood!

Im hoping they add back the flood though judging by the legendary ending being a view of a halo ring it looks like a possibility
Uh, aren’t the Prometheans basically digital constructs or something along the lines of being digital to combat the Flood since it grants them immunity from being consumed by the Flood onslaught?
So besides the lack of Promethean Combat Forms… I can see us fighting the Flood somewhat.
Although the Knights can’t really be infected since their mechanical…flood hunters and flood brutes would be cool. How about flood drones? little flying flood forms attack the armories in a swarm at one point. Could all take place around a Forerunner installation on a Halo.

Suppose Forge World being on Halo Reach set on an Unknown Halo made it “Halo”.

I doubt Hunters would appear… they don’t have a nervous system - being made up of thousands of tiny worms packed into combat armour - and the Infection Forms need that to force a DNA match with their host.
That would be soooo cool!! Omg! Except, how would 343 do this? I mean halo 5 is rated T for teen. If flood is coming, I would kinda want it to be on a more rated M for mature scale so that we get the full awesome zombie/flood expirience
Can’t happen in Halo5, the game is rated T and if they brought the flood back it would raise the rating to M.
