I really hope we see some of there ancient fighting in halo 5 campaign I mean in the game itself not some dam terminal!
The Prometheans might decimate normal Flood, but they themselves can be outsmarted by Spartan IVs.
This is like a rock-papers-scissors scenario, because I think the SIVs might just -Yoink- their pants when they encounter the real deal i.e… Gravemind controlled Flood.
From the lore standpoint 343i should give the Promethean Knights better and more hardened Shielding.
This is what I’m hoping for in Halo 5. I’m pretty sure that we will fight the flood once again and it would be epic to see prometheans vs flood in gameplay.
It would be a cool battle. Taking after the 4 way battles of CE.
And considering that 7 Million people died in New Pheonix, and I’m confident we didn’t see anywhere’s near that much throughout Spartan Ops… either Jul or the Didact has quite an army wqiting to be used.
Since Ur-Didact is most likely alive, he would be preparing new version of Promethean project where he left behind when Librarian stunned him. Not sure why he wasn’t on requiem during spartan ops, but only time will tell.
With humans and covy being turned into flood as well as humanity being hunted to be turned into Prometheans and being in a long war with the covy and amongst ourselves humanity is kinda hurting…
I wonder if the Janus Key will reveal a way to control the Prometheans. With the Flood almost certainly on their way, an army of super efficient killing machines would be pretty nice thing to have.

I think this would be a really good idea. I always hated the flood, they always annoyed me but thats a good thing. Never had a easy day with the flood. Would like for them to comeback in Halo 5
I don’t think the Janus key will be used for humanity to control the Prometheans the Janus key is a map to everything forrunners have built or something I think I remember hearing from halo 4 S.O.
Promethean Knights should be made a ton more rare and stronger. As in “Oh -Yoink-, PK detected, send out everything we have to out that thing down”. Or at least, that’s the image I have of them in my head.

Let’s not forget the Promtheans were designed to fight the Flood, not a war of attrition.
Exactly. But I really doubt fighting and surviving Gravemind controlled Flood is every SIV’s forte.
it would be nice to see the Prometheans having a sub boss to give orders to the lower Prometheans kind of like Tartaus from Halo 2 he was in charge but still took orders from the profits in high charity. but the sub bus would still take orders from the Didact himself. but the sub bus would also be hard to take down chief himself cannot do it by himself. this sub boss would stand out really good from the rest of the Prometheans.
This will definitely be interesting. But I feel as though a gravemind controlled flood could destroy the leaderless Promethians.
I just hope the Flood can be a scary as the Necromorphs on dead space.
