I’ve seen an IGN video of the Flood gametype in action, and I’m a bit disappointed that all of the survivors default to a single team-colour. One of the reasons I like Infection in Reach and Halo 3 is because you got to see everyone’s specific customizations, without them being all Red or all Blue.
I’m not sure why they decided to change that. What’s the point of going to all the trouble to customize your character if we never get to see them as each player intended? Especially considering the whole mythology of a zombie(the basis on which the Flood gametype was built on) is the idea of individuality vs. conformity.
A small complaint, I know. I’m glad they found a not-unclever way to include the Flood into Halo 4, I’m not ungrateful. But it reminds me of how pointless team colours were in Invasion in Reach. If you don’t want people mistaking each other for Flood, just turn off friendly-fire.
It’s not a big deal, but I’m curious to see what you guys and gals think.

It’s an odd choice, considering standard Flood in Halo 4 have bits of yellow armour. So it doesn’t actually help to distinguish the two sides, visually.
