I tried to search about it, because I know it’s been said here already, but I couldn’t get to find any topic about that, so well…
Seriously, how awesome would it be to have a flood skin for the infection gametypes in Halo 4 ? Only one skin can be enough, and it would please both the multiplayer community and the machinima community. It would definitly take Living Dead to another level (even if its played a lot in Reach without it).
The only one thing that needs to come with this is an actual weapon for this skin, replacing the energy sword with an infected arm, for exemple.
It can’t really be that hard to make, and I know that a lot of people have talked about this before, so let’s all believe.
This is exactly how infection SHOULD be. Ever since the dawn of zombie mode in Halo 2, I have said that you should be able to play as a flood, whether that be just to look like one, or to have flood traits too.
I think it would be pretty neat to do like a Left for Dead type of infection where if your infected you could play as one of the other kinds of flood based on some aspects of how well you’re doing. I like infection how it is but I think this would be pretty neat.

That could be great, but it requires much more time to make it this way.
I’d say one skin can really be enough, to just make the playlist an immersive experience, actually. Playing the recent new maps added to Living Dead in Reach really reminded me of Halo 3. It seems to me that the succes of these gametypes is more about atmosphere and tension than just being with ten persons shooting anything that comes. So the flood skin’s only here as something to make it more immersive, more threatening.
