After recently hearing the flood is voiced by a pug, I was wondering if 343 would make flood hounds or flood enemies that resembles a dog. Just a idea to 343 if they make it real.
I too though it would be a flood just the way it made those cute squeals and animalistic noises I hope they bring the flood back that would be so exiting
That hasn’t been confirmed. The pug noises were heavily speculated on as possibly being Flood noises, but they could be anything. They could be local fauna on the ring that we will encounter, or grunt noises, or a marine playing a very dirty tuba for all we know.

This should be the first post of this thread, so that nobody reading through this thread gets the incorrect impression that Gyoza’s recordings were confirmed to be for Flood sound bites.
I have a feeling that those sounds will be for grunts and not the Flood, but who knows.
Or…they might just be for dogs?

Ah yes, the newest a greatest achievement of the UNSC RnD labs: an army of pugs with two magnums duck-taped to the sides. Move over Hannibal vehicles, the true masters of future battlefield are here. I’m sure we’ll have the relevant mod out by the end of the first month post-release.
But yes, chances are that Gyoza (the pug’s name) is going to lend his considerable talents to some alien creature: maybe it’s the Flood or ring fauna. Or maybe the Chief will just have a pug sidekick for Infinite. I just hope he is getting a solid paycheck for his work.
There was no confirmation that the pug recordings are being used for Flood sound effects.
We aren’t even positive the Flood are in Infinite.

The Flood are coming back since The Primordial was on the zeta halo which infinite is taking place in

I said a simar thing a short while ago to some people. Said Nintendo outsold Xbox One. I had to say, Yeah, probably. But until that is a full confirmation from either Xbox or Nintendo, You cannot just say those things. I wish more people realized not everything said on the internet is real. People are saying Series X has more power and others say PlayStation has more power next gen. But until both get Benchmarked by a 3rd party, we should never follow those rumors.
