Make the Pistol in Flood one shot one kill (only if you aim for the head).
I’m trying to get the Protector armor set in Halo 4. I’ve been playing a lot of flood to get the pistol commendation up, before I finish the BR and frag grenade.
(The new map’s they added for Flood suck for getting the pistol commendation up by the way). That’s not to say they suck over all there pretty good maps.
Make so if you aim at for the head and fired they die, and don’t say:
“oh that’ll be to cheep” no one complained in Reach. In fact it made the Pistol useful in Infection.
if u wanna finish the commendation more quickly, why u don’t play SWAT?
headshots 24/7, u will finish in no time.

Last I played swat It just had BR and DMR no Pistol, yeah I’ll most likely do that but still they should make The pistol in Flood one shot one kill.
Making Magnum a OHT headshot on Flood would make everything go back to the Magnum campfest that was Reach, and everyone who wasn’t human at the time hated that. =/
They should make a gametype where the Flood have no shields. And replace the Magnum with a Boltshot.
I’ve tested this, and it makes Flood play so much better! It’s so much fun!
But if the Magnum stays in a Flood gametype with no shields, then Flood will be ruined. It’ll just be mini-DMR-sniping the whole time like it was in Reach. Boring, unbalanced, and unfun.
No one will want to be a Flood because you’ll just keep dying. And I don’t know about you, but when I was a Survivor in Reach, I was bored. There was no excitement. There was no fast-paced combat. There was no worry. There was no desperation. It ruined the fun and scary gameplay concept that was made in Halo 3.

See I knew people were going to say that No reload just that one clip you get at the start once its gone its gone until and new round start

That sounds fun.
I know it fun the way it is, and 5 shots for the Pistol does kill the Flood (if you pace the shot’s that is). so I guess you can say it make’s it more “realistic” for lack of a better term. Even in Reach where it was a one shot kill people still wasted the clip to kill them.

If what you suggest is true, then explain to me why Reach’s Infection is more popular the Halo 4’s Flood? Even to this day it has a bigger population.
If 343 wants to ignore what was a giant population draw so they can place another offering at the alter of balance, that’s their business. But there is one indisputable fact, vastly more people enjoyed and played Reach’s Infection then play and enjoy Halo 4’s Flood.
Sword base tunnel charges were hella fun.
