> People have been saying that you’re armour dictates the way you will look as a flood. Do not know if it’s true though.
That would mean in the picture, those three Flood had Locus helmet on and Default for everything else. Also, in the gameplay someone recorded, the player that was infected still had Locus helmet on and Default everything else, even though he had Recruit helmet on. So, it’s not true.
I applaud 343 for making the Flood feel like Flood.
At first I was skeptical about Thuster Pack. I thought it didn’t really fit in and the Flood was just being smart about it. Now I know that the Flood choose to use it because they’re 20x more smarter than before (only 2 Flood combat forms were ever seen using equipment not including vehicles in previous Halo games).
I’m a bit disappointed about the Flood not being in the campaign because they look much more worthwhile to fight.
P.s. Loving the return of gurgling! That was missing for a long time and the Flood never felt the same for as long as it was gone.
I’m just happy that Infection mode is actually ‘Infection’ as opposed to the old types. As long as we can customize this is custom games to make brilliant Infection variants then I’m good.

Oh. Yes, for customization options: Forced Color: Off. But for Living Dead, I’m assuming the Orange for Alpha, and Drab for Infected.
Most likely the shield can absorb 1 direct hit. So basically you pull it out as the zombie is about to lunge at’chu. Then he´s pushed back and before he can lunge again, you either shoot him in the head, or a teammate does.
