Flood mode eliminates custom game variety IMO

The main concern I have with flood mode is that you cannot make zombies have other weapons. This means that lots of classic halo custom games that were favorites in halo 3 and reach cannot be carried over to halo 4. My friends and I used to play fat boy and ghost busters all the time, and now we can’t with the new game settings because the only weapon the zombies can use is their sword-arm.

Is there any way you can change this to let us make more variety in our infection?

P.S. If there is a way that I am unaware of, could you please PM me about it? Thanks.

IDK if anyone can see this

While I wish Fat Kid the most painful death possible, I agree; it feels like 343 kind of hamstrung Custom game makers in this one. One thing I really liked about Reach was the creativity that could spawn from the file browser, from puzzles to Infection gametypes, and I’m sad to see it, not go, but diminish.

Maybe the custom gametype people need to start brainstorming new gametypes based on the options currently available. Y’know, like they had to do when the options first came out years ago?

Unfortunately, there isn’t way around your problem. There is an entire thread dedicated to custom game improvement by Time Glitch.

I agree, all the gametypes from Halo 3 and Reach are nearly gone, gametypes like: Fat Kid, Halo 2.0, Jump Rope, Toilet, and many others.

I know you like to defend 343i and everything they do, but c’mon! Things like having the ability to have the zombies wield different weapons and placing weapons on zombie maps are basic things! Necessary things! And the Alpha Zombie losing their traits and become a regular zombie after death is just broken! So according to you, we should be fine with going backwards? There’s adapting and then there’s just settling for less. And we should never settle for less!

thank you. I favorited that thread.

@Green Dragon you are right.
