So we know that Halo 2 will appear as Halo 2: Directors Cut meaning things that were scrapped from the original will appear in game. Things like the Gungoose, AR, and Silenced SMG.
Anyone remember this fellow? The Flood Juggernaut was cut from Halo 2, but still found in the source coding. Certain Affinity’s attitude toward cut content seems to be “why not?”
Is there a possibility that we may see this beast show up in Halo 2 for the Master Chief Collection?
When they said Halo 2: Director Cut, they were referring the Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer maps. All the cut content added to Anniversary multiplayer will not be included in the Campaign or original multiplayer. So, you won’t see the AR in campaign.
While Certain Affinity is working on the multiplayer, Sabre Interactive is in charge of the campaign. But 343 Industries is managing both teams, so that doesn’t really matter. Although, the changes are exclusive to the multiplayer.
But that doesn’t mean the Juggernaut can’t return. They can, as I have suggested before, include a new skull that spawns one random Juggernaut per mission or something like that. It is complete, just lacks a death animation, but since it would be a skull, it could just literally disappear when killed.
For a moment I thought this was a proposal for merging Infection and Juggernaut into one game mode.
With regards to Mr Tentacles… I guess it would be cool to fight it, we need more big enemies in Halo. Hunters are all hunched over, so they look smaller than they are. If it doesn’t make the cut, then maybe we could see it in Halo 5 or beyond.
They won’t be added in just like how the engineers weren’t added in CEA.
In the updated graphics, they will be floating untextured boxes.

Oh god those floating boxes in a mass just seem scary for some reason.
I’m sure they wont be in H2A.
I do hope they include this and somenew flood variants the next time they show up in the universe.
