My question is that at 0:38 you see a structure that seems to resemble a lot of “Flood” characteristics. Do you guys think we’ll see flood in the upcoming spartan op episodes?
I just did they are pretty awesome. Well i am saying it looks more like a covenant structure because it might be one LOL plus their are some light on it you can’t really tell because of the lighting AND Bad quality. (Any else yo want to say ? Feel like a big man ?)
When the structure opens up you can pause the video and get a quick glance of what is inside, and I see grunts.
So unless the covenant are working with the flood, (“A lot can happen in 4 years.”) I think it’s safe to say that it’s a covenant structure.
But i thought the same thing as you did. The design and colors are deceiving.
I actually had this idea a little while back. Here’s the link if you want to see it. It would be so awesome if the flood returned and then they were in Halo 5. Can’t wait to see what happens!
> The Grunt, you see is not coming out of it, it is simply jumping from the other direction toward the Spartans with its Methane thrust.

> You never actually see anything come out of the structure, only that its mouth begins to open nothing more.
I think I see a Hunter inside of it’s second mouth. It’s definitely Covenant originated.
Speaking of Hunters, when will Spartan Ops have Theater? 343 have time to film gameplay but they don’t make this accessible to the general public?
Speculatively speaking, canonically it wouldn’t be out of the question that the research/testing Didact was doing with the Composer to make himself immune from infection would have involved Flood being present on Requiem. Much like Flood specimens were kept on the halos for research, he may have had samples for his tests. That being the case, it ain’t too much of a stretch for them to get “accidentally” released by the Storm/Didact coalition to battle the UNSC.
