In the Halo series my favorite gametype has always been “Infection” and dont get me wrong, i am a skilled player when it comes to any shooter. But i love killing zombies! Recently I made a zombie map on Ravine from Halo 4. I spent 2 days and every last penny in the budget and that included everything from every category. As I invited my friends to test-run the map we all noticed 2 problems. 1. I cannot change the forced appearance of the characters. (But I will admit i like the addition of the flood appearance but to force some neon green color over the vast array of customizable colors on my character baffled me as to why i couldn’t change that.) 2. The weapons. I cannot make Guns/Grenades show up on my map nor can I change the weapons the Flood start off with. Because of these problems my map is pretty much useless. Will there be some kind of update to fix this or am i missing something? I want the old Infection back.
I agree, while I enjoy the ability to be a Flood while playing infection, we really shouldnt be FORCED to use the settings of “Flood appearance, Sword”

Something that I wanted to share with you is that we are partners with 343i and co-developers with them for Forge and Multiplayer, but 343 is a separate company than Certain Affinity. 343i owns the rights and all decision-making authority for the Halo franchise.
I understand that there is frustration within the community about game types as you’re stating here, and that pages of the Waypoint forum have been devoted to. Trust me that 343i is monitoring all of this, even if they might not be responding publicly as much as the community would like. As the game’s product cycle evolves, the game types will also likely evolve with it. They are listening and working on ways to serve the community the best that they can.
I know that this might not ease your frustration about the current state of game types, but know that this issue is being communicated upward, that 343i wants to take care of its community, and they will make changes based on the community’s feedback.

I know, flood for customs needs to be updated.
All the spartans are lime green and we can’t place weapons on the map for use.
Me not so gusta currently but I’m sure they’ll do something about it, some time in the future.
My biggest problem with Flood on matchmaking, is they gave the zombies shields…
Why give the zombies shields?!
