Flood Gametype Idea: World War Z

-Headshots only
-no shields
-zombies move at 50% speed
-zombies can’t jump
-humans dont have radar, zombies have 75, radar
-no armour abilities
-DMR spawns
-some load out weapon map pickups, non respawning
-unlimited time, game ends on final conversion
-gravity increased to add fall damage
-humans respawn as zombies after 10 seconds, zombies on instant respawn

This is a terrible idea. Zombies would just get picked off excessively by DMR users with the ridiculously slow speed.

My idea: go around as Max brooks conducting interviews.

It would be more fun than getting constantly killed by the humans every ten seconds.

And the zombies are slow, I think.

in the BOOK they were incredibly slow. as in 2 steps every 3 seconds. and the idea is that the human players get tons of kills, but run out of ammo and get massacred. any survivors need to hide

If they can’t jump, then we need specially designed maps for this gametype, not to mention how un fair it is.

I was going to say this, no jumping means the zombies would never get to the humans.

Try reading the book and then ask that question again. That movie is an atrocity and SHOULD NOT be called World War Z.

whats scarier a slow zombie or a zombie going 30mph?

How did the virus spread so quickly in the books if zombies were extremely slow?
A threat I can walk briskly from… How did it spread so quickly?

Easy 1-shots on slow moving and non-jumping enemies would only seem maybe reasonable if it was 3 survivors versus 9 Flood to start… And even then, the first half of the match is farming kills, it’s not until ammo starts getting low that we have a “problem” as the survivors.

I’d like the movie “zombies” over the books if it’s true. 150% Flood, not 50% Flood, especially since I can OSK the head at great ranges with a hitscan weapon.
