Flood Firefight is something that the Halo Community, especially people who have an especially high attachment to H3:ODST. I am one of these people and I have poured hours into Flood Firefight and I have picked up on things that I think are very much worth pointing out.

The inclusion of boons and how they have been handled. It seems that, when boons are enabled in a match, every map has an additional assault rifle weapon rack and an additional battle rifle weapon rack. Alongside these, most maps will also have friendly AI or a Flame Thrower as well. Although I cannot remember what maps, some maps as do not include additional boons alongside the assault rifle and battle weapons racks but I am not 100% sure if I have found them. I think the maps may be Windward and that one inside the ONI building (I think Alpha Site but don’t quote me on it). I’m not sure why some maps don’t have them but I think that it’d be interesting to why and if that can be changed.

Friendly AI issues: Please understand that the majority of my time spent playing this has been on the map Crater (night) but I don’t see why this wouldn’t be applicable to other maps. The friendly elites on Crater, although being great to have, need some work when they use weapons that the player swaps out with them. Many of these weapons, they fire irregularly with. These include grav hammers and SPNKrs and I believe others but those are the two that sick out to me.

Ranged Forms: When making the game more difficult, ranged forms are infuriating to fight. This is unfortunate as Tank Forms provide something really nice to combat but the benefits of having a Tank Form are outweighed buy the existence of Ranged Forms. I tried fixing this by specifically selecting Tank Forms for the custom game but that only seems to be what they spawn as rather than what they stay as. What I would suggest to 343 is replace that Tank Form option with Tank Forms that cannot morph into other pure forms.
