This is what Flood Firefight with ODST squad should be like…
Would actually mind a Firefight with themed waves ie Covenant Empire, Covenant Remnant, Flood, Promethean, Insurrectionists etc.

Sorry wouldn’t… 
Innies would function as a very earlier round/set enemy to begin to get you ready for the onslaught, and possibly give the Flood some canon fodder for infection.
I just want the flood back, period. much better adversaries that prometeans, and creepy, too. Prometheans are just too robotic. Maybe a flood only firefight mathc can be made, though adding them into existing firefights, and giving them the ablity to “absorb” and resureect current dead enemies on the map would bring a fresh new play mechanic into firefight, and you’d have to strategize even more on how you fight.
Also, wouldn’t mind if they injected brutes into firefight, even if it wouldn’t be “canon”, not that I care how Halo 4, 5, and 6 “canon” goes anyway, prefer the orignal trilogy for that.

Jiralhanae could be “installed” into the WARGAMES WARZONE simulation after the Battle of Ealen IV.
I think the way Firefight is, to be honest, is yet another version of “arcade” firefight… which just ends up being too easy or too silly.

Flood firefight would be fun, especially if you could drop with a team of Marines or ODST’s that are able to become infected. The final round you have to locate a pelican, repair it and escape.

Ooh they could set the waves chronologically, innies the covenant then flood then remnant. If you put a bunch of goblins in the last round it would even preserve a progression of difficulty

Yeah Flood only firefight is something I’ve dreamed of for a long time.
