Updates to #HaloMCC contain changes that will invalidate previous Theater films and mid-mission Campaign saves. Before updating, record your favorite clips or complete any in-progress missions or playlists. More info can be found here: [link to support]

The tweet is from the official Halo twitter account. It’s as real as real can be. If the update doesn’t come out next week, then hopefully they can give at least give us that update blog they promised.

I’m hoping there will be some Flood related challenges and nameplates to celebrate the coming of the new mode (I wouldn’t say “No” to having Flood Spartan/Elite armour either).

Same. So tired of Infinite. It’s not even a good game without Halo, but with the Halo title it’s just insultingly bad.

My ultimate wish for Firefight would be to give players possibilities to fight any kind of enemies, that would include elites (even we don’t really fight them in ODST or H3) and play as an ODST, Spartan or Elite and finally bring Firefight maps from H3 campaign…

wow, next week and just like that? I know they promised this to the Season 8, but still. It’s full silence for MCC since 20th Anniversary stuff released. I hope they fix some issues, like the stupid Spartan Ops progression.

Same here. I’m mostly hoping for bug fixes across all the titles, which seems to be coming if the checkpoints are getting invalidated.

The way both games have been handled since Oct/Nov is shameful. I honestly felt that 343 was building trust back with the updates on MCC since 2019/2020. Now I don’t really know what to think. We can’t keep having 5 or 6 months of silence before we finally get an update. I hope there’s some suprises in both the MCC and Infinite updates in April and May.

I’m still hoping Campaign Coop improvements will start to be implemented into MCC next, finish off Custom Game Browser with H2C/A and 4. Campaign Coop Matchmaking returning to MCC from Reach and Spartan Ops (but is expanded to every other Halo Campaign in the Collection). Of course after all the mod tools are finished first.

Yeah, I know there’ll be patch notes with lots of “X issue fixed” listed. But I mean I’m hoping a few days before it drops we get a trailer showing off Flood Firefight and hopefully other actual new content. Like maybe another Halo Online map getting added to Halo 3. Or is this literally just gonna be Flood Firefight and everything else will just be various big fixes?
