So, I think of all things that would have been added to Halo 5’s Warzone mode would have been the Flood. Ever since Earth got hit with it, you’d have to expect that Spartans and other foces would train to contain and eliminate the threat.
What if a few things that had to be handled in Warzone would be like evacuating civilians to a pickup zone and protecting them for a certain amount of time against waves of flood? Or having them try and destroy shield generators so they can access more area? Or keeping them from occupying a certain area even?
Having bosses like occupied ancient Forerunner vehicle’s, Juggernauts, Pure forms, Infected Covenant, Sergeant Johnson, or even an infected Spartan(maybe Master Chief as a Mythic boss and have the othe blue team members as bosses to defeat before Master Chief?).
What would you all think of this as a continuation into halo 5’s Warzone or possibly in Halo Infinite?
Sergeant johnson as a boss would be amazing. Fighting increasingly difficult rounds of flood would also be awesome. Idk if I’m a big fan of having chief as a boss. Since he hasn’t died yet it would be a little weird for me if I were to play a match where I or a team would take him down. I would probably want to lose on purpose just to see chief survive lol. But I like the whole flood idea. Its interesting.
Moving this to the Halo Infinite section because I think this would be a super cool idea for that game.
The Spartans definitely do fight Flood still, if weapon descriptions (Morph Sight DMR) and visor descriptions (Flood Visor) are anything to go by, so it’s puzzling why a Flood simulation was only in Spartan Assault and H4. It’d be a cool variation of WZFF.
I’m all for the flood joining firefight and having more unique bosses/boss encounters and was also surpised we didnt get more of this. If WFF stays I just hope they change from a round time limit to a lives or one life per round mechanic cuz it kinda sucks being in the middle of a kool boss fight and losing only because you ran out of time. If we’re gonna lose to them it should be because they killed us imo.
