I really doubt it, its probably along the lines of one of the sword assassinations

As for what it looks like, I have no idea.
I hope it’s something visceral, and somewhat brutal, like stabbing your arm through the Spartan’s chest, or something similar to that.

Someone on these forums posted a few days back about some of the stuff at Eurogamer, he hinted at the Mantis and was able to give some good criticism, but one thing he said was that the Flood have an awesome/ brutal assassination they can do . . . I’ve been waiting to see one since he mentioned it.
However, 343i has given us good game play about everything they’ve revealed so far, the maps, the weapons, the new game modes . . . except they haven’t done anything for the flood yet, so I’m hoping they throw together a montage and show us that in one of these weeks bulletins . . . and if they do make a flood montage, they should have AT LEAST one cool flood assassination . . . or I might cry . . .
I can’t wait to see it, but I can’t wait to hear it either. “FLOODSASSINATION” had better be just as epic as “FLAGSASSINATION” is.

There actually has been a gameplay commentated by someone from IGN and a 343 employee(can’t remember who). It’s on the ign website.
Maybe it will transform them right on the spot.
Transforming on the spot sounds most likely, its pretty easy to imagine a brutal transformation, though the player would die and respawn, instead of just standing up.
but what I’m wondering the most is, why haven’t we seen it yet, a lot of people have been wondering about it.
Yeah! A spore could come out of the flood’s free hand and transform the victim!!! Theres loads of possibilities! i hope they’re will be multiple floodssasinations…
