Who here hates flinch? How many times have you been thrown off a perfect kill? De-scoping is loads better, because half the time when your being shot, you don’t need to scope. Keeping you in scope at point blank whilst having your reticule through about made flinch a living nightmare. However, what are your experiences of flinch? Is it the bane of your existence, like me, or do you perhaps there are some positives for you?

Try using the “Stability” perk. De-scoping takes a lot more skill for mid-long range, but I prefer it to flinch and it’s great to counter snipers.
Good point. I agree, to an extent.
I hope halo 5 fixes the flinch or at least make it less difficult
I couldn’t agree more, but I actually am looking at it from the standpoint of the one being shot. If someone was sniping in older Halo games, I would be able to spray them with a BR and duck behind cover because it would scope out for them, but now I feel like there is nothing I can do to save myself even if I am making an effort to get them to miss.
I like it just fine. I fail to see how incoming bullets would affect the gun’s camera feed to helmet’s HUD.
Now if they would only cease the “finch” effect on sprinting.
Balance issues be -Yoink!-, give the game some common sense.
If you don’t like it, use stability, or aim for the stomach when sniping (when you’re being flinched of course)

It was in the beta but they confirmed it will be removed from the game when its finally released.
