Yes. Because there’s no excuse with the extra time now.
Flighting is a good method of bug fixing and more developers should do it.
It’s definitely very possible we’ll get flights & a beta for the game now.
Though for the time being I can wait for them to deal with the bulk of issues they have to fix before I get hands on with the game

I hope so, it would be nice to play the game before release to help give positive feedback prior to release.

I expect that flighting may come in place of the original launch date. Like 343i won’t launch the game with the release of the series x and series S but they might do a limited time flighting program for those who bought the console as well as for PC users. Ideally with the delay as well it would give consumers enough time to form a player base around the new console so that 343i can drop the one line completely as to make the game better overall.
They have to flight the game or they will probably be issues with the game at launched.
I think they’ll have a better roadmap and contingency plan. So yeah, I think we’ll see it. But I’m not sure when or for how long. Ideally 2 or 3 flights to test balancing and such but who knows. Be thankful if we get one.
I think they’ll do an MP reveal and drop that it’ll be available that upcoming weekend. But I don’t think we’re on the same timeline as we were previously. I wouldn’t expect to see MP or flighting this fall. Maybe in Spring.
I too would think they could do it now but, who knows… Part of me kind of gets the impression that even if the pandemic didn’t happen this game would not be ready for a holiday release this year. I don’t have a problem of them using the pandemic as a reason to delay the game, If anything if they want to use that as the reason then by all means go ahead!
I think it would be nice if we had something late this year early next year aka winter time in a multiplayer beta. Here’s hoping it happens
