As many know, the flights for Halo Infinite are coming VERY soon. (Today if I’m not mistaken?) So for the fortunate souls who got invited, here is a guide on how to format your feedback, be it on Twitter, Reddit, or any other social media. So let’s dive in to the "Do"s and "Don’t"s.
-
Be Constructive. If you find a bug, or glitch, or something different, give feedback that can help. For example, check first if the glitch you found is in the list of bugs and glitches. If not, post the issue explaining in context what the problem is. Something that can most likely help the team would be to include what map, gametype, and hardware you were useing/play on. - Be polite. Don’t make your feedback look like a Fortnite kid turned on his CapsLock. Getting heated in your feedback post can make you look immature, reducing a chance of you getting invited back for future flights. Instead, if you don’t like something, just say it. A simple “I didn’t really enjoy this particular thing much, I hope it can get changed in the future.” can go a long way. - Be short (To an extent). The nightmare of anyone who reads feedback is 500+ word essay. Keep your sentences compact, phrases abbreviated, and omit small detail or unnecessary comments. On the other hand, don’t make it a one liner. Extremely short feedbacks can’t really help the team that much because they can’t extract many issues from your description or the feedback isn’t in depth enough. - Only suggest things that are NECESSARY. If a suggestion is just ‘Make this look cooler’ then it’ll get ignored. Suggestions like, ‘Nerf this gun a bit’, ‘Make this map feel more open.’, and ‘Idiot mode on bots would be cool.’ are all more helpful. Suggestions for things that are merely VISUAL will have no effect. And don’t forget to say please. ;)I hope this guide will be a good help to Insiders, I will most likely add sections as the flights go on. Any feedback for this topic will be appreciated. I tried not to be salty because I didn’t get invited for this flight. I hope Y’all have a blast. See you in Infinite this holiday! Dropping out.
