Ok so since the update the ranking was supposed to be a little more heavy on the ranking and some bugs were supposed to be fixed. So me and a buddy went into doubles thinking we were gonna get a little lower than pre season and low and behold we get the same but that’s not what’s the problem the problem is that he basically carried me most of the time. And came in clutch a lot for us and he gets diamond and I get diamond 3. How is that possible!? For instance his kda was 7.6 and mine was a sad 1.6! he did way better than me most games keeping his deaths low. And I rank higher!? How???
I’ve stopped listening to the ranking when it put me in Gold after winning 7 games and having about a 1.5 K/D. I’m not a great played and individually I play at a Platinum level but with my team we compete with Diamonds soo.
Ya the first ten games to rank you system is crap. I lost my first 4 in team slayer like 48 to 50 going positive in each game against onyx/diamond. Then by the last 3 games I’m going plus 10 against platinums and it ranks me platinum 5. I keep dropping plus tens now which sucks for people who are legitimately platinum. Before reset I was 1 or 2 games away from onyx. I feel like once you are ranked over time it sorts you out pretty well but that initial rank could be way off. I wish it would consider kda for those first ten games then switch over to wins.
