Flawed Logic

According to some people this game needed to completely change, Halo’s style was dying and Halo needed to change to become more modern . Things from CoD have been added like loadouts and scorestreak’s (Ordnances) . Also implemented were things like join in progress and grenade indicators. If them people were right , Halo needed to change its style and become more , I hate to say it but CoD Like then why is this game doing the worst out of any Halo with multiplayer?? The theory is wrong in my opinion. Halo needed to stay Halo . Reach the most hated multiplayer on the xbox 360 before this done better .

Agreed OP, I don’t mind if they add somethings, but they should’ve progressed the evolution of Halo from Halo 3’s game play.

I agree this game should have been more Halo 3 like then Halo Reach seeing as though Reach is the farthest from it storywise.

And the least successful.

The only reason people were so excited about this game is because they said it would be more like H3.

Reach was THE MOST SUCCESSFUL Halo title actually. In terms of Revenue from sales and DLC and also in terms of a consistent and healthy population over a longer period of time (still in the top 20 XBL now).

I am not arguing whether Reach was a good or bad game, i am just saying that your information is incorrect. People obviously liked it. Whether those people were true Halo fans, competitive gamers etc etc is debated. However, Halo Reach was in no way the ‘least successful’ Halo title, in solid measurable terms.

Of course it was, there was a larger population of gamers than when Halo 3 released and more 10 year olds bought it, but Reach is widely regarded as the worst of the main entry Halos.

> blah blah Reach was the worst, bandwagon, I only play matchmaking blah blah

Halo 2: Vista would like a word with you folks.

It had a pathetic population straight from the start and is known as the worst Halo game to date.

From a business standpoint, sure, it was successful, but that was because of the momentum Halo 3 created.
