flawed Logic?

I’ve been reading some of the more recent developments of Halo 4 and heard about they’re going to attempt to bridge the gap between new and veteran players when it comes to power weapons. So instead of veteran players having the advantage of timing weapons creating a skill-gap something I feel is a good thing they will drop randomly over the map

However I also read the stuff regarding Spartan credits and how these could be used to buy armor abilities. Surely veteran players will have the advantage here over new players and have the best equipment. This just doesn’t make sense to me.

So if you play the game more you’ll get more credits and therefore better/higher end gear. They just seemed to have created a larger problem as the issue with timing weapons isn’t play time restricted as someone with limited playtime can easily look at a map guide and learn the weapons but in Halo 4 they’ll need to actually play for hours on end to get the credits need to match the veteran players with their equipment.

Sigh…

It’s like they are trying to fix their mess by hiding it beneath another mess : /
