Hi! I’ve been playing firefight for a while, and I stumbled upon this challenge I could not complete but remember completing it before. The challenge is Flat Tire: Destroy 10 enemy vehicles in firefight matchmaking. It sounds simple, right? It is, but there’s a problem. The wraiths, banshees, and ghosts I destroyed would not register in the challenge. I play this on matchmaking firefight, score attack.
I don’t know if I’m doing it right, so I hope you guys could help me with this.
I’m also playing score attack to work on some commendations but its not counting any of the vehicles I kill. I’ve blown up at least ten Banshee’s today and every time I check after the game it doesn’t list the Banshee in the enemies I’ve killed and doesn’t count towards my challenge.
You need to actually blow up the Vehicle, with most gametypes settings, you end up killing the driver of the vehicle before the actual vehicle itself.
Using a Sniper against ALL vehicles should work if you shoot at the weak spots.
Try the map Beachhead, and use the target locator or spartan laser. Most games I see 2 wraiths and 1 ghost in the last wave of score attack x2. Glaicer is another good one to try, same set up but not as frequent. I tend to stay away from banshee’s for this challenge, for the same reason Little Moa states, I almost always kill the pilot first. You must destroy an occupied vehicle, if the pilot/driver dies first it does not count.
Score Attack, Installation 04, sniper attack, when it comes up is a real good one. I have been able to get up to 5 Banshee kills if all goes right. Two shots with the sniper rifle, and if your lucky enough for one of the covies to start shooting at you with the turret and you shoot the turret it will count as a vehicle kill also.

Stick the damn things!
-Plasma Grenade
-Plasma Launcher
-Grunts!
This is not that hard to get you just got to use the right weapons.
FF Doubles: “Arcadefight” on Holdout. Usually get around 6 banshees. 2 shots with the sniper rifle and you got them.
