The only reason I made this is because there is no ACTUAL flat map in halo 5. Yes their is Alpine, Glacier, Tidal, and parrallex but those are not flat. so I think their should be at least A flat map.

The new forge pieces were shown of in a previous community update, https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/into-the-storm . I’m guessing that the ground is part of the canvas that is being referred to.

Lazy Link I didn’t really catch that before, but it does look like a new canvas! Super excited for this update now! Can’t wait to see it!
There is the possibility that the new forge canvas isn’t flat either, just keep that in mind.
