Why would a futuristic spartan have a… flashlight? And not nightvision?

The two would be pretty useless because almost all of the Halo maps are bright.

Night vision
Doesn’t seem all that futuristic but I think chief just looks better with a flash light.
But there could be options for this stuff MM. Flash lights would give away your position but also blind people using night vision or that VISOR thing from ODST.

i say night vision and this should also be available in MM i dont get why they never were.
Flashlight would be SICK for night theme infection games.
Does no one remember using the flash light and its limited battery on High Charity when the Flood attacked during Halo 2? Freaky stuff man. (Original Halo had this too, but CEA ruined it by making everything 100000000x brighter. )
If the maps are dark enough, then I say flash light is the better option. Night vision was completely useless in Reach.

How could you hate the VISR? It scans basically everything for you. It’s like eyes that look for you that are even better than your real eyes. WHY U NO LIKE VISR? xD

Makes the game way too easy. What’s the point of having invisible enemies if you can just flick a switch and see them?
