I bought a One X yesterday, and I wanted to play through the Halo MCC again before finally playing 5. I noticed that during the game, in the bottom right corner of the screen, there is a small quadrant that is flashing, like the pixels in that area are messed up. This happens in the menu screen too, but seems to stop once I exit to the Xbox Dashboard screen.
This doesn’t happen on any other game on the system (tested Forza 7, Gears of War, Horizon 3) and it isn’t present on any of my other consoles (One S, PS4 Pro, Switch).
I have a KS8000, if it matters.
Does anyone else have this issue with this game in particular?
I would check the video modes on the console and TV to make sure they match. Possible video sync issue between the console and TV. I played CE legendary full thru and video is great. Even switching back and forth between old and new video on MCC. However I have 1st gen xb1 and 1080p projector to play with.
I am currently experiencing this issue right now on Halo CE on my new Xbox One X. I didn’t notice it yesterday when I was playing some of the other levels but just now noticed when I started playing Assault on the Control room.
I kind of freaked out at first because I also got a new 4K TV a month ago and was thinking the TV had a hardware issue and was dreading having to take down everything to get a warranty replacement.
But I tested it out a bit and it seems to be only effecting this level right now. When I toggle to the old view, it goes away but returns when I toggle back to the new.
It doesn’t effect the start menu and it isn’t visible when I switch off the console to Hulu.
So I think it’s safe to say that it’s just a random bug that they need patch.
Yeah i got the same issue also guys’tested othere games and they work fine and my other consoles dont do this so yeah i guess it needs a patch,but where gonna get a huge X patch/update for it anyway so i exspect these awsome Halo game to be perfect when 343 release this sometime this year.They better not let me down because i had a very long break from xbox so if they Annoy me again i will never come back’’'oh fix the X gears of war ultimate edition res flicker as well please.My god this consoles games are full of bugs.
