Flaming Warthog pre order code?

Is there anyone out there that has a flaming warthog pre order code? I’ve even asked for one off Santa! Small things amuse small minds! Thanks!

Iv a feeling Santa might let you down this year!

I preordered my collectors edition but didnt pick it up early enough for a flaming Warthog code, I was well annoyed but most people have either binned or used them now (the game IS two years old basically)

Yeah! I was going to try and sweet talk BS Angel (Administrator) but I don’t think even my charm would work! lol

It wouldn’t work, not because of the charm factor, but simply because I don’t have any.

I have one, but it’s already been used. Do you still want it?

there is one on ebay once in a while but sells for around 15-30 dollars
same thing for the honor guard wraith

Thanks but it’s not going to work!

I have 3 unused flame warthog codes(I used to work in a video game store) id be willing to trade them in equal numbers for an honor guard wraith for halo wars and or Flaming helmet for reach this account name is my gamertag message me on xbox live if anyone interested

I think a flaming helmet would probably be 100 times more valuable than a flaming warthog code considering that you had to get legendary edition to get the flaming helmet. It is very rare to see a legendary edition anywhere too.

First off its all about what you are looking for. Second your wrong, preorder codes don’t go to all who preorder only the first few 15-20 per store with Halo games when this came out. Where as your local Game Stop or Target should be more than happy to sell you as many copies as you want of Reach Legendary Editions and they still receive them regularly not to mention amazon.com. Now you tell me whats worth more an unused token available for a limited time ONLY for preorders from a game released 2 years ago or a token that is in EVERY Legendary Edition of a game that was released 4 months ago and is still sold new almost everywhere. if you are having a hard time figuring that out tell me where to preorder a 2 year old game and receive special gifts for it. If you are still having an issue figuring that out then check ebay.com and see how many sellers have just the code for each and see that the helmets sell for the same price but there are VERY few flaming hogs and a ton of the helmets.

Sorry but people that post blatant misinformation as facts when they have no idea what they are talking about (and really have no reason to post them) really pisses me off

I completely agree with you! The flaming warthog code is nails to find BUT I HAVE GOT ONE!!!(yesterday) I am now the proud owner of a flame paint job! This pre order code is rocking horse -Yoink-! I got it off ebay for $20 after months of scouting! In the same week another one appears and I thought I would pick it up for my Wars buddy! IT HAS BEEN BID UP TO $80!!! Someone wants those FLAMES BAD!

You’re the one posting blatant misinformation, the pre-order codes are NOT only given to the 15-20 people who pick up their pre-order in store. Anyone who pre-orders online from a legitimate site (Gamestop, amazon, NOT Toys R us, I’ve seen people do that and not get the bonus), will get the code. You can preorder multiple, and therefore stock up on codes much like the legendary edition. And that legendary edition from 4 months ago? Yeah, $100+, it’s not that common for people to buy it.

Online yes, but first off most people didn’t order video games online 2 years ago and if you read the FIRST response he pre-ordered and picked it up too late 2 years ago $h1t like that happened on a regular basis. Now they print out a digital code so they never run out. However if you’ve EVER pre-ordered a game you know that you don’t get the codes that you said to “stock up on” unless you buy every copy you pre-ordered b/c its a gift with purchase. the only way to get any extras is to have a friend that works in a video game store. The only reason I have any is b/c we found them in between 2 counters when we shut down the store I worked in.

2 years ago (2008/9), the vast majority of pre-orders were online. People pre-ordering from stores were looked at as really outdated, or clueless. Whether it looks like that from where you are or not. The other way to get extras is to simply order multiple online, you’ll get one in email for each order, unless explicitly stated, which it was not. Not to mention that they make extras now and then to simply give to community managers for whatever they like.

Codes ship with the item. And I’m not sure where you are getting your info from but I worked at both Game Crazy and Game Stop where we got marketing research, and 90% of people bought their video games in stores back then. Also 75% of gamers where age 13-21 now 5 out of that 9 years aren’t old enough to have a credit or debit card so ordering online becomes very difficult for those gamers. Im not even sure why you are posting anything in here. Your the -Yoink!- who offered the guy a used code not you are flaming me with no real info to support your claims just your opinion why come to a forum just to be a $h1t disturber

I originally brought a normal copy of halo wars but about 4 months ago i saw a pre-owned copy of the collectors edition in GAME for like £5 so i couldn’t not get it, decided to give my old copy to a friend after that. Anyway my point is i got a Honor guard wraith code with it so i guess most retailers still have some

I hate to be the one to say the bad news but my friend had a pre order flames warthog code after all this time and he recently tried to use it…

unfortunately, the code would not work because it has expired :frowning:

If one code was expired, they all are probably expired… :frowning:

I am not 100% sure, but it might be too late to get the flame warthog code, even eBay is not selling them anymore and there used to be a lot on ebay.com

Some game codes ship with item. Stuff like the recon helmet, BFBC2 VIP, shipped with item, and are thus stockable by ordering multiple. Most of the codes, such as flaming warthog, ACII extra tomb code, ODST Sgtmaj. Johnson code, were emailed to online pre-orderers the day before shipment. Game Crazy? Never heard of it. Age 13-21. I believe those numbers though. I’ll go with you on that one, even though everyone I know has always pre-ordered online. Maybe I just live in an exceptionally nerdy area.
I’m not even sure why you’re still posting here. Clearly, I was being an -Yoink!- by making a joke over a purely aesthetic matter, and everyone else took it as such. Only someone who was looking for a fight would have seen it as mocking or an insult, or whatever you saw it as. How have I flamed you? Flaming someone is defined as attacking a person personally, which I haven’t done, I’ve only attacked your opinion as to the value of assorted game codes. I’ve never insulted your mother, mentioned anything about your -Yoink!- life, your age, or any of those other rather rude things I could have done, this being the internet, and those being the most common form of ammunition.

I bought my Halo wars a day or 2 late and it was Legendary edition.

The gamestop guy then handed me the flame warthog code and he had quite a few of them. I asked him, why do you have them?!?

He said ALOT of people cancelled their pre-orders, etc…

With this kind of code, I think it is pre-ordering, luck, and hopefully alot of people cancelled so there is extra codes…
