Flaming helmets?

So my friend just recently started playing Reach and I was wondering if either armor effect is still obtainable for him?

I figure all “remaining” legendary codes have expired by now?

It’s still obtainable if you can find an unused code for sale, but that’s going to be really rare and likely expensive (unless the seller doesn’t realise what they’re selling).

Alright, I can’t seem to find any online (Ebay and whatnot). How about the Eternal effect? Has that ever come back?

No afraid not, that hasn’t been available since Bungie left the franchise. I think Bungie day 2011 or 2012 was the last time you could unlock it, not possible any more as it was tied to their website

Alright fair enough…
I’ll keep looking for Legendary then, thanks!

If you are going to look around for a Legendary Edition Code, if you have a Wal-Mart in your area, look at their electronics stock online and see if by chance if they have a Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach sitting in the back (If they have any onhand). Wal-Mart tends to not get rid of their electronics games and locks them up if they cannot sell them (The store I worked at in PA years ago had two Legendary Editions locked up in their security room collecting dust).

If you’re lucky enough if your Wal-Mart has one locked up, you just might be able to get the entire Legendary Edition of Reach. It’s a gamble and not a guarantee, but it is worth looking into. If you’re going to have to pay $70+ for a code (That is the average price from what I have seen on eBay when a code is for sale), you may as well buy the whole Legendary Edition if you can and get the statue and other collectables.
