Flaming helmet

can you still get the flaming helmet in 2016 in halo reach

If you mean the Blue flaming helmet - no, that hasn’t been obtainable since 2011
If you mean the Red flaming helmet - yes, you need an unused code from the legendary edition of the game
If you mean the backwards compatibility version of Reach, then the Red flames should show up as installable DLC from what I know and the Blue flames should be available automatically

The blue flame in xbox one is not available but the rest of the DLCs should be installed free with the game (That includes the Red flame, Elite officer, Anniversary,Maps,Defiant Maps, etc)

Don’t think you can without an old code believe me I’ve been looking for a way I’ll let ya know if I find anything that isn’t a scam.

How much would it cost?

An unopened copy of Halo Reach Legendary in 2016 is going to be tremendously rare - if any even still exist. At this point it’s honestly not worth paying the money for it unless you’re a collector. Even then…

I have the legendary. Perk for buying it… Bragging rights.

That aside, still prefer the blue flaming since it brings back memories. I’m constantly asked if I’m a Bungie employee in-game because of it.

I snagged the blue flames way back in 2011.

Fight me m8.

Flames are old news.

A little while ago a clear nameplate was the hot stuff

I suppose the only way to do it is to go on your 360, plug in a flash drive that has over or exactly 256 gigabytes then put the content on the flash drive and transfer over by putting it in the Xbox one. Note I have no idea this will work but I will once I get the flash drive. The reason it has to be exactly 256 gb or over is because it will go to media and not games.

Blue flames no
Red flames maybe

I love my Blue Flames.

You could probably buy an unused code for red flames from the internet, but they are quite expensive and sought after.

You will need a code for it mate.

If anyone has the blue flaming helmet, can I use you for my machinima?

If you can’t get your hands on an unused code, you can license transfer flames off of a friend if they bought the legendary editon, that’s how most people get flames nowadays.

So will they show up for backwards compatibility even if you never had them before?

No, you need to have previously owned them for them to show up.

Oh, ok. I wish 343 can go back to Halo Reach so they can make those Blue Flames and nameplates available for a limited time again.
