Is it to late to unlock the flaming helmet effect?
To unlock Blue flames, yes - the last time that was unlockable was about 5 or 6 years ago. Red flames are still available if you can find an unopened Legendary edition, but this long after launch it will be extremely rare

I checked EBay on my phone, there’s only 3 Unopened Legendary Editons for around $200-$300 (Australian dollars)

Hard but not impossible, I found one on eBay last year for $150, don’t give up my friend, they’re still out there!

Extremely rare is one way of putting it. There’s several collectors out there, myself included, who have sealed copies of the Halo Reach Legendary Edition but have no intentions of opening them simply for a code. Best of luck trying to find one though. Who knows?Maybe you’ll get lucky and find an unused code in a used copy of Reach at your local Gamestop or game store. Never hurts to look
I was curious about this topic too. Looked up online quickly and I can only find them on Amazon and eBay. No where else… All super expensive too. $250-600…
I had a spare code left and sold it for 120 euros.
It’s all relative, but asking 250 dollars for a digital code is ridiculous.
The way i see it, only way you could get the blue flaming armor effect now is either by a license transfer or modding in the game. Red flames on the other hand, is obtainable from the Legendary edition of the game

I highly recommend <mark>not</mark> doing this - license transfers break Xbox Live ToS and can get your account suspended
