I think 343 should give to champion ranked players a flaming helmet. We need more stuff in this game, that could only get very good players like it was back in Halo 3. There is no difference between a high skilled player and low skilled player in terms of customization atm.
Yes but there are lots of people who achieved champion in past seasons because they completed the 10 placement games before anyone else, so just because you have achieved champion before doesn’t necessarily mean you’re any good at the game. Achieving Champion rank from now on should be reward enough, assuming 343 actually fixed the ranking system.

So like yourself then? As currently you are not a champion rank in anything. So what you’re saying is you can only where the Flaming helmet during a season in which you are a champion and if you drop from champion to onyx you can no longer wear the helmet?

I think a reset, is a great idea. Would like a change to quarterly seasons.

I feel like there would be a lot of cheating involved for those people trying to get it. Look at Destiny’s Trials of Osiris. People cheat on that to win
I think if your champion in that playlist your head should automatically show as flaming, but only for that playlist in that season
Too bad we can’t access our previous armors in past halos. I would be in my reach armor with the blue flame.
Except then it will never be used, because nobody with a champion rank is going to want a glowing head that makes them a massive target.

As a Champion, I am in favor of this. I would like something to make people think, “Hey, this guy is good. I better be on my A game for this fight.”
