In reach we were able to make our spartan have head flames what if this time the flames are covering the spartan armor sort of like the lighting effect from reach

Fitting for Super Soldiers nicknamed Demons.
If you’re fine with taking cover behind an object while one-shot and someone finds you because they see flames, then go for it! Having your body engrossed with flames would probably be worth it.
That would definitely be cool. Inclement Weather in Reach was sooo cool when we first saw it.

I always liked sporting Birthday Party myself, but Inclement was a fave too.
Can’t see Armor Effects ever, EVER returning though, given how much people gripe about simple weapon skins. Never saw many people take issue with Hayabusa, Haunted, or Flaming Helmets though.

Because those items required you to either put the time in the game (Haunted), achievement based (Hayabusa,Recon) or through getting the highest collectors edition of the game (flame)
Current model has you getting items through a battle pass or gambling style rec system. I think more people are complaining about how you get it then a simple weapon skin. I would LOVE for armor effects to return and or make recon rare again. But unfortunately I don’t see that happening due to the current trend “pay to unlock” gaming.

The complaints I was referring to were calling out the weapon skins themselves as being “Tacky”, unrealistic, etc etc and “Have no place in Halo”. Not just the amusing Last Slice pepperoni skin, but all of them. Sharktooth, Master Control, the whole bunch. Weapon Skins themsleves - period, regardless of unlocking method - were bad. Because they ‘broke their immersion’ or some such. The same sort of complaints I’d see directed at Inclement Weather and the Marty Hearts effects way back in Reach days (And I’d sometimes get angery messages just for using the Birthday Party one at the end of a game)
But I’ve almost never seen people group up to demand Haunted be removed from the series or call out the flaming helmets as having no place in the games. Apparently these are okay, but weapon skins aren’t. Well, and Armor Effects. Truth be told, maybe 343 should just implement a toggle like they have for Assassinations. Don’t want to see these visuals? Switch 'em off and on your side of the client you’ll see nothing but the same 'ol colors on every single gun and whatnot.
I’d love Armor Effects back too. I’d have that Birthday Party effect on all the damn time (Why do the Grunts get to have all the funnn?), but again I just don’t see it happening. They’ll probably keep Weapon Skins around regardless of the people who say they should go away, but the Armor Effects are likely going to be limited to Reach.

Yup they are demons literally

It will trust me
Yes, but only if the Flamethrower returns. Gotta love that ackward moment when you aren’t sure if your Flamethrower stream is actually hitting the enemy or your just seeing an armor effect. Psychological advantage right there.
Honestly I don’t really like that kind of stuff like the flaming head and armour effects, I’d rather Infinite not have any of that.
