I haven’t seen any lv.1 veterancy flamethrowers ever. They kill and destroy alot, but gain no veterancy unlike marines. Is this a glich or just balance issue? In HW1 they get veterancy alot faster than others units.
huh. haven’t noticed this. You should go into a skirmish against easy opponents and test this.
I have found that the amount of kills a flamethrower gets before it dies is usually never that many to have gained any veterancy! But it may need a testing of some sorts!

Doing a 1v1 skirmish would help more, you could build a single hellbringer squad with a nightingale and have the other player send in single Grunt/Marine squads.
Has anybody tested this? I’ve noticed it as well.
