do flamehogs really do more damage to building than warthogs cause they both are yellow to buildings but flamehogs use fire wich is anti-building and infantry in this game
Flame mortar gives Flamehogs a DoT effect.

I guess more damage doesn’t mean excellent damage.

You dig way too deep on the coloring of the unit type affinity.
The only thing the colors represent os if the damage has a multiplier or not. If the Flamehogs have a DoT effect it means it will do increased damage over whatever unit stays still, buildings do not move. That means they get all the damage from the dot but that doesn’t mean Flamehogs have an anti-building multiplier.

the answer is that it does normal damage to buildings. red is .5 damage yellow is 1 damage and green is 1.5 damage. that’s not an exact figure, but it’s approximate. if you want to know how much damage warthogs deal you’ll have to wait until they add stats, because i dont know either.

I’m saying why isn’t it green to buildings since its fire

I get your point, Kinsano is an anti building leader and the flamhogs are supposed to do more damaged against buildings (as they’re quite weak on infantry imo), however I think it is not green because Locusts are green on buildings, and flame hogs of course don’t match them there.

Not all damage types work like that. For example, the hunter fuel rod is a different damage type than the banshee fuel rod.
I’m not sure if kinsano’s cyclops/flamers/flamehogs all have the same damage type, I will have to look into it to be sure. But I’d say, don’t pay too much attention to it. If Flamehogs had a multiplier against buildings they would be OP as they were before. The DOT is what makes them effective as a side effect.
