Why doesnt halo just do what every other game does, and let you have the flag on your back, while you can still use your main guns?
Like quake 3 or every other game? I can see that they don’ t want you to drop the flag because they want you to use the flagnum thing they implemented… but forcing us to use that is rediculous, let alone having it appear out of midair… and making it magically buffed with u have a flag.
EVERY other game that uses flags… has them auto pick up, and lets you use the guns you have already.
And competative shooters return them on touch.
Halo’s flag running is more fun.
COD = run and gun your way to the flag, run and gun your way back. In Halo, once you pick up the flag, everything changes and teamwork is much more vital to cap it.
And also, walking across the entire map on your own, completely helpless holding the flag with a giant beacon over your head and still managing to score is the greatest miracle to ever happen in a Halo game.
All I want to play is Halo classical CTF and Halo 4 CTF. Not only Halo 4 CTF.

I have to agree with this. When it comes to CTF, Halo owns every other game.
