A lot of people are upset because once you pick up a flag in H4, you are stuck with it.
THANK GOODNESS they made it that way.
It was so annoying hearing
Flag stolen
Flag dropped
Flag stolen
Flag dropped
repeat
repeat
repeat
repeat
I see people saying things like “Well, what if a Ghost or something is about to run me over?” Too bad. Respawn, and try again. There are more cases where people are mad that they can’t flag juggle over the fact that they MIGHT come into contact with a vehicle.
This is the first Halo 4 bit of info that I am happy over.

I think you also miss the fact that you have a glaring icon above your ahead, telling the other team your location
Judging from reach, the announcer doesn’t say it like that anymore.
I’d take juggling over not being able to drop the flag any day.
What’s the point in not being able to drop your flag? We’re freaking spartans, we should be able to drop it if we want to. It’s not as if the flag has magical properties or anything…
I don’t like flag juggling either, and I never understood how it could possibly make you a more skillful player to do so.
However, this is no excuse to take away the ability to drop the flag. especially since it seems the flag is automatically picked up when you run over it. what if I want to pass it to a teamate? I commit suicide? or maybe I put it down for a second to pick up a weapon. I shouldn’t be forced to hold onto the flag until capture or death.
Didn’t care for flag juggling, probably because I sucked at it. I am not sad to see it gone.
I don’t play a lot of objective games, mostly because of people that quit. However, when I do try to be the driver to get my team mate to the flag and get him back to our base as quickly as possible. I also do my best to cover the flag carrier as best as I can until he caps the flag.
ahh nice to see another classic halo element get taken away.
flag juggling added so much to ctf gametypes by making players decide if they wanted to run fast and let people know where they are, or slow and be sneaky. but yet again, halo gets dumbed down. how can you say you are trying to make a bigger sandbox if you’re eliminating so much of the existing one?
> All this crying over the inability to flag juggle anymore…wow.

> It’s not 343’s job to cater solely to the core. Doing so in today’s gaming industry would be suicide.
Casual gamers aren’t the ones that care about the game enough to complain. They’ll just take what they get.

Yep, true enough. I’m equal parts casual and core.
At least we try our best to enjoy the game we get.
If I was a developer I wouldn’t try to satisfy the people constantly -Yoinking!- either.
id like the option to be able to drop the flag in order to defend myself with lets say rockets if I happen to have them when I am going for the flag. cause lets face it you cant count on randoms to get your back all of the time.
