As soon as you drop the flag in the juggle enemy team get to see its position = balanced imo

Flag juggling doesn’t bother me. Jumping, the incessant, silly, ridiculous, unrealistic jumping - that makes me crazy. Can’t anyone just run around and shoot without jumping like a maniac?
Jumping makes someone easy to hit. They get put into a predictable arc that is easy to track. It puts you at the advantage.
Go play Halo 4 then where you can’t let go of the flag and it sucks

There is a difference though in sprinting and flag juggling in terms of pros and cons.
Pros of Juggling
Fastest possible travel with flag
Requires some skill and technique (not much, but still separates casuals from hardcores)
Looks cool and is a part of Halo History
Cons of Juggling
Reveals your position every time you drop the flag making it easier for enemies to track you down
(this is a big deal in a no radar ranked match, especially when both teams have the flag)
Pros of Sprinting with flag
Faster than walking
Unlike Flag Juggling, it hides your position
(at least in my personal experience, you are only revealed after just picking up the flag for like 5-10 seconds, or if you take damage. Especially in a stand off, eventually the other team having our flag doesn’t have the marker over their head saying “FLAG CARRIER” marking their location)
Cons of Sprinting with flag
Slower than flag juggling
Not as cool looking as flag juggling
I don’t really know why flag juggling is very controversial to begin with. It’s not like Halo 5 when you have a pistol in your hand with a flag, and flag juggling can still get caught by enemy spartans with normal sprint, since they are still slightly faster than the flag juggler.

A dev posted on a reddit thread about the carriers not having one hit kills anymore. The reason because they want you to drop the flag and get involved in the fight rather than have a overpower carrier who can lunch everyone. Flag juggle has ways been a thing and if someone’s doing it at least you will know exactly where they are, rather then not sprinting and being hidden.
He might’ve only played halo 4 or whatever where the flag was glued to you with a -Yoink!- FlagNum LMAOOOO
I don’t think there was flag juggling in Halo 4 since it’s been a while, but I don’t recall enjoying CTF in Halo 4 that much.
