It is way too fast. + they have their weapon accessible while doing this.
It seems very broken.
Why even have sprinting with the flag when this is so much faster.

Flag juggling has always been a Thing in halo it’s not something they would get rid of hell how would they even the only way I can thank of is by making it so that once you pick up the flag you aren’t able to drop it unless you die or score which would just be a terrible design choice imo
They could make it slow to pick up
I don’t consider flag juggling broken, it’s been a thing since OG Halo so it is pretty nostalgic to a lot of players from a history standpoint…
From a modern gameplay standpoint, Unlike Halo 5 where you have your pistol out ready to shoot 24/7, when you juggle the flag you can’t shoot immediately because your weapon has to be drawn, so that split time frame can kill you (and for me, it’s happened a lot.
Plus, you reveal your position when you drop the flag constantly, and in no radar ranked matches that can mean something.
It’s a skill, knowing when to arc the flag or simply throw it to defend yourself is key. That or sending it off a grav lift or off an edge to a team mate, etc.
In similar sense, when playing oddball sometimes you intentionally throw the ball out of bounds for a reset. Which some people think isn’t “fair”, but that’s just a how you play the game at a higher meta.

Yea sorry fam juggling creates a skill gap which benefits the player that may have to cap a losing situation, 2v1 or 3v1, just gotta press Y then X. Also been in the game since CE. Lol

Oh and in response to the topic, juggling is my favourite thing to do in all of Halo. I love how it feels to throw the flag, how it looks and the rush of adrenaline to get a good cap. Walking the flag is fun at times to be sneaky, but in higher level games it’s extremely rare to be able to use that strat.
If flag juggling didn’t exist in the older games i don’t think CTF would be possible to play at higher level. 5 flag is my favourite gametype in all of Halo. I’m absolutely loving Aquarius CTF in ranked, wish it came up more.

Flag juggling is fine. Yes, it seems stupid, but anyone is able to perform this. It’s a matter of mastering and/or wanting to do it. With what others are voicing, yes it’s been in the halo games and no I don’t think the halo community wants it to go away. I don’t want this to go away and I suck at juggling the flag.
I’m even nostalgic for flag dropped, flag taken, flag dropped, flag taken but I know people hated it so it’s off now ha.

If you wanted to remove juggling, you would just make the flag drop with no momentum from the player.
I personally don’t much like it, it’s a little too sweaty for my casual play style, but I recognize it is another rung on the skill ladder. So, I respect it.
