Why is there a giant beacon constantly over the enemy flag carrier. One of the skills in previous titles was being able to sneak past enemies with the flag if your team was bad and couldn’t capture as a group etc, you could potentially sneak a cap yourself. Now that’s impossible since they’ve added a giant -Yoink- beacon over the carriers head to show noobs where you are. Yet another example of 343 catering to the lowest common denominator. I sincerely hope that gets removed, as well as the sniper flare when you zoom.
I agree. That’s a dealbreaker for me. Completely ruins the strategic elements of CTF.

The giant beacon is only there when you sprint
This is the trade off, it like how the trade off for juggling was the same. Dont sprint and you won’t light up, if you have issue with that it’s on you because this is completely fair.

I wasn’t aware it was only when sprinting, that ks for clarifying, given 343’s tendency to cater towards poorer players I thought it was a permanent thing
