Flag and Ball melee should be insta kill

I just don’t understand why they’d even change this. Please make the melee for objectives insta kill.

I was about to make this exact post.

At first I thought 2 hits was ok, but after playing several flag/ball games its really unfair. You are super vulnerable with no defense. If you run your auto spotted, and if you walk your crazy slow. They really need to make this the way it was before, single melee to kill or something its to unbalanced. Particular when you drop in a game with a bunch of randoms who are not playing the game as intended.

personally I think they should keep the two hit kill, but do like the gravity hammer does.

Primary is a charged attack (one hit kill) but you only have so many of those maybe one every minute.

melee is the two hit kill.

Agreed. The common player motive of grinding out challenges, combined with a more-instense-than-usual handicap for the objective carrier, really doesn’t bode well for the mode.

One hit melee wouldn’t rectify that, but it would make it suck a lot less. I want it back too.

What makes me confused is why they’d complicate it. One hit kill with flags or bombs, there’s no reason to change a system that has worked for twenty years. (wow, it felt weird to say twenty years)

Totally agree. I get that these are team games and your team is supposed to protect you, but carrying the objective shouldn’t make you COMPLETELY defenseless. I’ve found myself just immediately dropping the objective at the first sign of being rushed, instead of charging toward the enemy to go for the one kit kill. It’s such a small detail, but it makes a huge difference in how objective plays.
