In other Halos, I didn’t have much as much trouble as Halo 5. Halo 5 sneakily introduced a lesser sensitivity. At max settings of sensitivity, including acceleration, it is like have a speed of 3. It is really hard to watch my own back. It’s more annoying when I can’t aim down sights and try to follow up on an enemy. The sensitivity can’t do it’s best. It’s to slow for what it should be. Please fix this issue. Bring back a proper sensitivity system.
You can enable custom sensitivity settings to allow for more precise adjustments, which allows for a lot of experimentation.
I have tried for hours to fix my windmilling AR to no avail. Plus it’s difficult to fine tune when you get lag, pauses, skips, dropouts and sometimes unruly servers. I used to be able to go to a couple of mates flats after school but I was never able to be on long enough to dial in either since there is no split screen.

It depends on your playstyle; low sensitivities are great if you want to maintain accuracy on your target, and high sensitivities help maintain your reactions and awareness in close quarters. I tend to be a twitchy player, so I play on maximum sensitivity to check my surroundings and to compensate for late reactions. Plus, sniping isn’t an issue as long as you maintain muscle control and input.

For awhile now I was hoping maybe an Elite controller would help but I just can’t pull the trigger on $150. I’ve gotten used to getting dead by AR’s while using my trusty Mag. Sometimes I come out on top but either way it’s the fortunes of war.

The extra paddle buttons may give you an edge in terms of reactions - kinda like playing a fighting game - but I think the standard controller is more than sufficient for most.
