Hello Waypoint community! I’m Criscooper123 and i want to give you my opinion about how I would like Halo 5’s matchmaking. I think it would be awesome to divide matchmaking in three playlist’s categories. Each category would have their playlists and maps and one spartan for each. The categories would be: Evolved, War games and Classic.
Evolved:32 vs 32 or 16 vs 16. The game is going to be next gen so this should be possible. Large maps, tons of vehicles (Maybe pelican?),heavy weapons, etc.
War games: Like Halo 4 multiplayer, but with nice maps, No instant respawn, no killcam and no ordenances. The spartan of this category is used in Spartan Ops.
Classic: Like Halo 3 matchmaking. Exactly the same, and maybe classic maps.
I would love to see CSR in all the categories too! Please, if you like my idea, help me trying to make 343 see it. If you don’t, tell me why.

Halo 3 is boring and lame, keep it in 2007. Halo 4 is better IMO.

In terms of gameplay, I’ll agree that Halo 4 is better than Halo 3 in a lot of aspects. But lame? Halo 4 is lame. It’s boring, there’s no reason to play. Once you hit 130 there’s not much else to do unless you’re into challenges and/or commendations. It’s basically a casual game. If I wanted a casual game I’d go buy Fruit Ninja on my phone. 60$ for, for the most part, a multiplayer game with no reason to play multiplayer except for unlocking armor pieces… is way too much.
I find Halo 3 a lot more fun due to the fact it has a ranking system, better custom options, and some good maps.
I’m not stating this as a fact, but it’s partially why Halo 4 is failing in numbers right now. Most of my friends have moved onto BF3 and/or COD… and that’s sad.

Why does Classic have to play like Halo 3 specifically? What if I were to consider Halo CE to be the ideal “classic” experience rather than Halo 3? This is just for the sake of argument.
In my Idea there would be a Halo 3 like category, a halo 4 like category and another with new gameplay. People who likes Halo 3 would play classic mode and the one one likes halo 4 plays War games.
