First I want to give thanks to 343 for the title update. No Bloom, Bleed Through Melees, ect. are a GODSEND. However Reach still isn’t without its problems.
-A definitive Ranking system. : The Arena system is atrocious. It encourages camping, and being selfish, rather than promoting teamwork. Microsoft “Trueskill” is a load of crap. Even with my
-Rewarding the winning team : The way Reach works, it doesn’t really reward winning teams or individuals (FFA). No matter who wins or loses, everybody receives the same basic credits. By rewarding the winners more, it gives more incentive to win rather than people playing for themselves.
-More options for customization : Though Halo is revered for its variety of customization, the community is still limited by the numeric values set by bungie. For instance instead of individual integers the shield, weapon damage, gravity, speed, and other options are only changeable to increments set by Bungie.(110,125) With individual integers, we can tailor the game to our every need.
-Forge Options : Every map or object made in forge looks pretty much the same. Perhaps if we could have the option to choose material or overall color of objects, we could have a more diverse map set.
- Give us a smaller sandbox map : Forge world was a great concept. Give the players a giant sandbox to create whatever their hearts desire. However, the size of Forge World pushes the xbox’s GPU past it’s limits. If anyone has played the game on split screen, there is clearly lag. Even playing by yourself on Asylum, looking through ring 2 from the sniper spawn, the game’s framerate drops significantly. By giving the forge community a smaller, less cluttered sandbox, there can be lagless forged maps once again.
-Customs Matchmaking: Without the use of third party search methods, it can be extremely time consuming to find people for a customs game.
These are just some things that i think would help Reach. Post some things you think should be fixed after this Title Update.
