Fixing Join IN progress was A bad Idea

here is why. They recently added pro gametypes in Infinity Slayer and Big Team Battle/Slayer. I see a lot of people quitting when either only Pro gametypes come up or pro gets voted on. What is worse, players aren’t joining to fill in the spots.
Ok you guys can say deal with it, I do. Sometimes I quit because of the team misbalanced. However, many people liked Infinity Slayer settings, which is probably why big team battle and infinity slayer were so popular. Many people would cease to play this settings and it will create a snowball effect. As those players no longer play and Join in progress not filling in the spots when players quit, more people would less likely play that gametype because they don’t want to deal with either people exiting the lobbies or long search times during off times.

The old join in progress system was the lesser of the two evils. Look at team throwdown, that playlist was horrible because everyone quits and without join in progress, it leads to unbalanced matches.

Please, if you want to save Halo 4, make pro playlist a separate playlist.

In previous Halo´s even when people quit the game i can still win if i play in my TEAM! JIP just makes this game worse, you quit because you play for yourself not for the team so it is impossible to win when your team has a player down and you want to play for yourself.

Big team and team slayer were always the most popular playlists in previous halo titles so infinity settings have nothing to do with the currents playlists popularity.

Quitting in BTIS has been a huge problem before slayer pro got added. Changing the JIP settings or removing slayer pro is hardly going to fix the quitting problem that this playlists faces. The only way to solve the quitting problem is to remove the incentive to quit. Adding faulty features such as JIP or removing a gamemode that people clearly wanted to be added to this playlist is on going to create further problems down the road.

What you just said is not going to save halo 4, the game has far more pressing issues that need to be addressed.

There should be two options (Quick match - join in progress AND standard - start from lobby) for each game type.
