So i start my xbox and start up halo 5, i look in customs browser to look for a gane and join one it ends…and halo 5 crashes by freezing to the point i can’t do -Yoink-, so i restart the game and join another game through the browser and the same thing happens AGAIN…is 343 ever gonna fix halo 5? because I’m not gonna wait 4 or 5 years for halo 5 to be fixed like i had to with mcc, its -Yoinking!- stupid
No, they won’t. Your best bet is to try some weird troubleshooting. Try going in a game by yourself on invite only so nobody joins. If that works, then try again, but leaving it on open so people join. If either one of those work then you may need to try playing a game solo or in Matchmaking before joining games in the browser. If neither work, then you have some connection based issues regarding Halo servers. Good luck.

Funny thing is…its not just me lol, more then 15 friends i play with and most randoms as well have the same issue, its just stupid how everything that isn’t competitive is broken and/or unbalanced…infinite better deliver

That’s unfortunate. I’ve been having hanging, freezing, crashing issues like never before, so I’m just convinced the game is broken as far as Forge and Custom Games is concerned. I wouldn’t expect it to be fixed.
Just wait until the next major Xbox hardware update. Then Microsoft will force 343i to “revisit their entire portfolio” and you’ll see a huge update for Halo 5.

Even then since 343 is completely ignorant to anything that doesn’t involve competitive play, they probably will only “fix” some weapon, or nerfe something that wasn’t supposed to be nerfed because comp ppl complain about it…like they did with the last 4-5 updates…, i really lost faith in 343 when it comes to non-competitive playlists…

Haha yeah so true. I remember watching a video where the pros were talking about how 343i didn’t listen to any of the input that they had. Their main complaints, as far as weapons go, were with the BR. And all they asked was to slightly reduce the aim assist and slightly reduce the red reticle range, both of which are reasonable in my mind. I guess the tuning guys took that to mean, “The BR is a super weapon. Please make it a piece of junk that’s mathematically worse than a Magnum.” So all these tuning updates really satisfied only a small group and ended up pushing away or annoying the hell out of most players.

Yeah ikr the br is “op” because it has too much bullet magnetism/aim assist in the opinion on 1/100th othe the community so they nerf it yet here we are playing firefight and let our legendary level 7 reqs get destroyed by knights because knight ai can fire an incin cannon rapid fire(shooting 7-8 charged shots in 2 seconds without charging)doesn’t get changed a single bit
